I will be starting as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science department at the University of California, Irvine in Fall 2020. My research interests lie at the intersection of computer systems, networking, and machine learning. I am currently spending a year at VMware Research as a postdoctoral researcher. Prior to this, I completed my Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2019 where I was advised by Brighten Godfrey. During my Ph.D., I have also spent time at Google and Microsoft Research as an intern.

My current focus revolves around (a) building efficient systems for machine learning and (b) using learning techniques for building more efficient systems.

I am recruiting students at UC Irvine. Please drop me an email and apply here if you are interested in working with me.
